I got kind of tired of the clouds, rain and stuff from April, May and early June.

But I’ll take that over 90s any day.

That said, I understand the canyons can be nice and cool when you climb them.

So I will climb them . . . often.

  1. I can’t fathom that anyone would complain about warm and sunny days at this point.

  2. A wise young man once told me some people just have to complain about everything. That’s me when it comes to weather

  3. I like to think I am really good at complaining, but long days and sun make me happy. It’s really annoying.

  4. maybe one of my complaints is that I’m Mr. Mom and I still have a hard time getting out for a real ride even when there are 14 hours of sunlight and great temps.

  5. Sorry, man, there’s no way you are going to get me with the “no time” excuse.

  6. It’s a poor excuse, that’s for sure. But between all my taxi duties to kids camps, tennis lessons, preschools, etc., strung out throughout the day it’s hard to find a 3-hour block for a real canyon ride — the type of training I need most.

Still, that’s a poor excuse because one hour is a luxury for most people.

What I lack, honestly, is not time. It’s discipline.
