Feeling Low
This might be interesting. Tonight, some small indy rock band named Low will be playing at Kilby Court in the SLC.
My wife and I — not exactly the textbook definition of indy rock concert-goers — will be there if all our planets align.
Why?
Because my wife knows the band, so to speak.
Back in the day my wife met them and spent a fair amount of time with them before they hit it ‘big.’ In fact, she was one of only a handful of people at the wedding of the two primary members of the band.
And so, if the planets align and all our bases are covered, we’ll venture out into the midst of hippiness and take in a truly ‘Low’-key concert and get our mellow on.
The last concert I went to was The Killers out at Saltair. It was decidedly not mellow but still a pretty good time.
Hopefully this will be fun and my wife and grab her friends after the show. They don’t know she’s going to be there.
