My girls, the Jazz fans

with 2 comments

Another of the fun little Christmas gifts our family enjoyed was a daddy-daughter-daughter-daughter date to the Utah Jazz game on Dec. 26.

Mom stayed home with Sam — he’s only three and would have been more work than fun — so I took the three girls and had a good time. And, thankfully, the Jazz won so everyone left happy — well, except the kid sitting next to us in a Dallas Mavericks jersey.

My oldest, Mandi, is a big fan and has been to a few games — getting geeked up everytime. Emily and Melissa were just happy to go out with the old man and do something. Getting face tattos, of course, was a big hit.

Here’s more of our Christmas.

(still trying to figure out how (and if I even want) to post a slideshow from photobucket.)

  1. How fun! My son has been asking to go see the M innesota Wild play a hockey game. I know nothing about hockey beyond the fact that it requires sticks and a puck. Still, is there a better way to bond than sharing a hot dog and nachos at a sporting event with da kids?

  2. Nice… always good bonding with the kids and sometimes funny! Took our 4 year old son to a Carolina Hurricanes Hockey game Friday night. We were headed down to the bathroom and he stopped us on the way out and asked the usher if he could please pause the game. My child thinks everything is on DVR or Tivo. No- he doesn’t watch that much… he’s only allowed 90 minutes a day. Many days he never watches. Cheers, Donald
