I Heart my sweety

I was just thinking how great I have it. I have a wonderful wife who tolerates me. She (usually) accepts me (when I’m being non-unacceptable) and helps me be a better person. She, for reasons unknown to me or anyone else with half a brain, decided I was the one for her.
My wife, knowing I’ve got needs, indulges those needs and lets me ride my bike. She even lets me buy new bikes when I don’t really need one. She is simply an awesome example to me and I’m really grateful for her.
When my job takes me away from the family night after night and we see each other only in passing and doing the tag-team parenting thing, she rarely complains — even if I complain.
She’s a terrific mother to our four kids and is pretty dang sexy.
OK, two questions. Does your wife read your blog and if so, what did you do? Alternatively, what surprise purchase are you planning?

Yes. She reads it on occasion.
Other than ordering the tri bike I didn’t do anything bad. We’ve just been swamped with family and work stuff lately and despite her crazy schedule (she’s an M.D.) she’s kicked butt in the mom and wife department.
So, if she reads it (Hi, sweety!) I want her to know. If she doesn’t read it, I was still feeling grateful for her support in this race we call parenthood.
